The Creekside Elementary Terry Fox assembly and run was a great success on Friday, Sept. 25th. The library learning commons has books and resources for students and families interested in learning more about Terry Fox, a Canadian hero. Please ask Ms. Koppensteiner in the library learning commons for help finding the books!
During the first week of school, many of the Creekside staff members were asked about what their favourite children's book was. Mrs. Koppensteiner held a contest for students and staff to guess which favourite book belonged to each staff member. Congratulations to Ms. Clark, a staff member and Jannat, a student for guessing the most correct answers. Honourable mention goes to Mrs. Turnbull, Zak, Muskan, Tarandeep, Pawanjot, Sebastian, and Sehajvir for a good attempt. Matched answers can now be seen on the hallway bulletin board outside the library learning commons. Answers are also posted below. Our library learning commons has many of these great books available to read!
