This month, students in Kindergarden to grade 5 will start reading the ten new nominees for this year's Surrey Schools Picture Book of the Year award. Mrs. Koppensteiner will share one book a week with students during their library time. In early May, students will be able to vote for their favourite selection from the ten books.
Intermediate students have also been introduced to the ten novels nominated for the Surrey Schools Book of the Year award. To be eligible to vote for this year's winner for the Surrey Schools Book of the Year, intermediate students must have read at least five of the ten nominees. The vote for this award will also be conducted in early May.
